As you know, 2 Day Precision Rifle Matches are not possible without the help of volunteers to run and score the match. The sport would not exist and have grown to where it is if it were not for shooters that have stepped up and volunteered to do their part and help out. We rely on you, the shooters to keep that culture alive now and in the future.
We have seen what works and what doesn’t work when it comes to running matches. We have designed matches for 2020 that we feel will be the most efficient and smoothly run matches in the country allowing us to finish the course of fire in minimum time each day. Our plan is to run 18 stages at once on both days, completing 12-13 stage on day 1 and 5-6 stages on day 2. With rounds down range starting at 0900 each day we should finish shooting by 1600 day 1 and 1100 day 2. We plan to have 2 RO’s per stage with extra RO’s available to offer breaks.
Because RO’s are vitally important to the success of a match, we have placed great emphasis on taking care of our RO’s. Of course we will feed you lunch with the best homemade match food in the country and provide bottled water at the stages.

We would like to have RO’s for both Saturday and Sunday and would like at least 10 RO’s to be available on Friday before the match to assist with the zero range, open range day and setup.
As the match date approaches, you will receive an email with the match itinerary and any required additional information. If you would like to bring a folding chair of your own, please do. We will have plenty of coolers for drinks. If have an ATV/Side by Side and can bring it that would be great! If you have a favorite spotter or binos that you like to use please bring it.
Hotel rooms – we would like to try to source our RO’s from the local area where they do not require hotel rooms. With such a BIG incentive from Leupold, we hope this will be possible. If we get to the point where we do need RO’s from outside the local area, we will cover room expenses 2 to a room as needed.
